A Few Years Ago In A Small Room Above Rob And Sue Ball's Opticians Shop BRFM Aired For The First Time. Now BRFM Has A Five Year Licence And Operates 24/7 To Many Listeners. All Of BRFM's Presenters Take Up Alot Of Their Own Time To Make The Radio Station A Success And A Lot Of Effort Has Benn Put In To Improve It Every Day. BRFM Is Now Currently Located Down By Nantyglo Leisure Centre. Many Of The Presenters That Worked In BRFM When It Had A Tempory RSL Running For One Month At A Time Left, After It Did Not Recieve A Full Time Licence, These Include The Youth Team, Andy King And DJ Fudge. This Was A Decision That Angered Many Of The People Who Listened To BRFM.

One Of The Most Popular Times Of Entertainment At Brynmawr Is The Christmas Fayre In Which A Celebrities Visit Brynmawr To Turn On The Christmas Lights. In Previous Years Brynmawr Has Seen The Likes Of, Rachel Rice Winner Of Big Brother Nine And Only Men Aloud Who Won The TV Show Last Choir Standing And Finally, The Year Before, Steven Meo Star Of High Hopes And Grownups.
